Eid Rules, OK!
The day after Ramadan ends, Eid-ul-Fitr celebrates the completion of that blessed month. The main feature of the day is the Eid Prayer in the late morning, which Muslims attend at their mosques in huge numbers. However, many things happen before thenā¦
For one, Muslims who aren't needy themselves should make sure they've given their Zakat-ul-Fitr before going to Eid Prayer.
Also Muslims would traditionally bathe and put on brand new clothes before going to Eid Prayer. Moreover, since fasting is forbidden on Eid, most would have a little something to eat and drink in the morning too.
After Eid Prayer, Muslims usually spend much of the day meeting family and friends. New clothes, feasting and celebration are all part of the typical Eid. Children therefore often love Eid. But for poor families the story may be quite different, so that's why Islamic Relief offers Eid Gifts.
